Painting Crystals class will cover how to paint the effect of a colourful crystal base for minis with opaque paints. Theory, real-world examples and tips and tricks will be covered. We’ll even cover how to do effects for crystalline weapons and more. And it's easier than you'd think! Some basic construction techniques for making your own crystal bases will also be covered. Students should have some experience with basic blending techniques before conquering this class. Students should bring their own brushes; one #1 or smaller sable/equivalent brush with a good tip- plus whatever you normally work with. Example minis you have questions about are very welcome too! All other supplies will be provided. This is a hands-on class with demonstration. A small crystal base will be supplied- students will be given a paper handout, though a writing implement may be desired to take notes.
