[Family Friendly] As the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ characters and storylines in fantasy increases, its only natural that eventually they intersect with a fantasy genre staple: child protagonists. Unfortunately, little discussion is being had on how to represent identity in characters still finding theirs. This panel will focus on younger queer protagonists and representation in fantasy: what we like, what we don’t, and what we want.
