Comics that move you!

"Comics that Move You" are comics that are emotionally resonant and have something profound to say. Sadly, even now, comics are often shunted to the side during discussions of "real literature" or seen only as blockbuster blow-'em-ups or goofy Deadpool-style comics. Other than a few Batman story lines, Sandman, or The Walking Dead, many people sadly don't understand how complex comics can be. We would like to play some small part in rectifying that by discussing and suggesting story lines and books that truly impacted us. They may have made us cry, sympathize with a social issue in a way we never had before, think more deeply about a complex philosophical topic, or concretely and beautifully articulate something we had struggled to define for ourselves. Regardless of the impact, we were richer for the experience of reading them and would like to share that with others. Hosted by Katie Radun & Richard Hooper
