150 G

Friday September 17, 2021 - 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Meet the creative masterminds behind the kid-friendly line of horror tales from Storm Kids Comics; a new comics imprint from horror icons John Carpenter and Sandy King Carpenter. From the Eisner Award nominated preschool comic Stanley’s Ghost, the middle grade adventures of Hansel and Gretel in The Grimms Town Terror Tales, and the YA horror graphic novel Sacred Hearts, the panelists will discuss the tightrope process of creating age appropriate spine-tingling tales of monsters, mutants, and the spooky things that go bump in the night. This panel will feature Writer and Editor Sandy King Carpenter (Asylum, Tales for a HalloweeNight), writer Steve Niles (Monica Bleue, Sacred Hearts), and writer Neo Edmund (Power Rangers, The Red Riding Alpha Huntress Chronicles).
