UPDATE (11/20): CATAN Studio is hosting an official CATAN United States National Championship Qualifier Tournament at PAX Unplugged. Format: 64-player, three-game preliminary round event. 16 players will advance to semifinals, to be held Sunday at 10AM
Schedule:
10:00 AM - Check-in at Tabletop Tourney HQ (Hall D)
11:00 AM - First game begins
Participants must play in all three preliminary games, expected to run until 6:00 PM, in order to qualify for Sunday's semifinals.
Semifinal check-in begins at 10:00 AM on Sunday, with first game beginning at 11:00 AM. Semifinal winners will play at the final table at approximately 1:00 pm on Sunday, with an expected end time of 3:00 pm.
The Qualifier Winner will receive a guaranteed seat at the 2022 Catan United States National Championship Tournament, location and date to be announced. The 2022 CATAN United States National Champion will be sent to the CATAN World Championship in Malta, courtesy of Catan Studio.
ELIGIBILITY: All participants must be US Citizens/Permanent Residents and be 18+ years of age. Winners of 2021-2022 season Qualifier Tournaments are not allowed to play in additional Qualifier events leading up to the World Championship. Registration: Participants will register directly with CATAN Studio (To register, check the event listings at https://bit.ly/catan-us-2022 and click the PAX Unplugged Qualifier). Event listing will be added there on Monday, November 22nd (time TBD). Registered players should download and install the “BCP Player” app from the App Store or Google Play.

Standby participation is available leading up to event start time at Tabletop Tourney HQ (Hall D). Unregistered players are encouraged to queue at Tourney HQ to fill standy seats on a first-come, first-served basis once pre-registered player check-in concludes.
