Let’s take down the Boss Monster in the new format for Commander. Bring your favorite Commander and 99-cards and let’s defeat the Boss Monster at PAX Unplugged 2021! This event includes two rounds of play.
What is Commander? - Commander is an exciting, unique way to play Magic that is all about awesome legendary creatures, big plays, and battling your friends in epic multiplayer games! In Commander, each player chooses a legendary creature as the commander of their deck. They then play with a 99-card deck that contains only cards of their commander’s colors. Also, other than basic lands, each deck can only use one copy of any card. During the game, you can cast your commander multiple times, meaning your favorite Legendary Creature can come back again and again to lead the charge as you battle for victory!
What is Boss Monster Commander? - Boss Monster Commander is a fun multiple Commander event where all player try to defeat the Boss Monster first for great prizes and the glory that comes from slaying the beast!
Rules: Each rounds begins with a Boss Monster in play, the Boss Monster has 25 life. For game rules purposes the Boss Monster is another player. The object of the game is to reduce the Boss Monster’s life total to zero. Players can only attack the Boss Monster and block for the Boss Monster.

REGISTRATION DETAILS - Register at www.PastimesEvents.com or at the Pastimes Events HQ in Hall D. Please check in at Pastimes Events HQ at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.

EVENT DETAILS - To participate you will need a Wizards Account, the MTG Companion App installed on your cellphone (Apple Devices or Android Devices), and a PAX Unplugged 2021 badge for either the day of the event or all 3 days.
Constructed Event: A Commander deck that matches the rules and banned list for Commander.
Size: Pods of 3 to 4 players.
Rounds: 2 Swiss Rounds.
PRIZES - Prizes are per player, per round.
Pod Winner: 8 Prize Tixs
