From 2009-2017 Nathan Lueth co-created and illustrated the Victorian-fantasy webcomic Impure Blood...and got crickets for his efforts. In 2020 he brought the series to Kickstarter and has since raised over $50,000. In this panel Nathan brings lessons from 13 years of middling results and eventual success. We'll not only be discussing the art and craft of comics, but also the business, how to build an audience, the fundamentals of crowdfunding, the best practices when launching a new comic, and most importantly, how NOT to make webcomics.
