Diversity is not just ethnic or racial representation; rather, it's an expanding understanding of the need for inclusivity in the world of cosplay—including overcoming gender barriers, providing opportunities for those with special abilities, medical challenges and other life struggles. Many of our panelists have overcome bullying and lack of support through the arts. Join us for a lively and illuminating panel experience. Avengers Cosplay Houston, or ACH, provides free visits/photograph opportunities to hospitals, shelters, and community organizations with superhero cosplayers. Our goal is to encourage those facing challenges by increasing literacy through free comic books and education about cosplay as both a form of self-expression and a healthy source of fun and volunteerism.
