In this panel, experts from Sam Houston State University Department of Victim Studies discuss why we are drawn to crime media. From serial killers to cults, gang violence, organized crime, our popular shows, films, and media is filled with crime centric stories of the true crime and fictional nature. Panelists will provide some insight into why we can't get enough of crime and debate whether this obsession with crime is harmful or hurtful to ourselves.
