Basics of Object Source Lighting (Beckley)

Classroom #07 Ft Worth Ballroom (1st Floor)

Friday September 2, 2022 - 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

This class will cover techniques and ideas to introduce the student to realistic object source lighting on a miniature. Object source lighting or OSL is the technique of using paint to create a lifelike light source without the use of a real light. This technique can seem challenging to execute and this class will help students understand the best ways to tackle the technique. Students are encouraged to bring their own brushes with fine points. A size 1 or 0 round and a size 2 round are recommended.
