It was 10pm and I was screwed. I had a big test the next day and needed to study all night, but my preorder of a new game was dropping at midnight. There was no way two hours would be enough time to pass, but all my friends would be up playing and I really didn’t want to miss it. Then I remembered Sherlock Holmes used a memory method called “Method of Loci” or Mind palace. I had recently read about it and how it uses your brains natural way of learning and storing information rather than the ineffective cramming methods most students try. It sounded too good to be true but what the heck, I wanted to play my game. So I gave it a try and in only two hours I memorized more information than I probably had the entire semester. How would Sherlock’s ability to memorize, organize, and pull out any information he needs at any time improve your life? I imagine many of you would use it much like I did that night I was torn between a painful night of cramming for a test, or playing a new release with a bunch of friends, but it goes much deeper than that. I now use it to memorize important game information allowing me to blow past all my friends in our favorite games. They don’t understand how I do it and have nicknamed me “The Wizard” It’s really easy to learn and start using. A podcaster friend of mine asked me to teach it too her and she now spends way less time preparing for her show and can recall almost anything she has ever learned. In short, it has given me real life superpowers and you can have them for yourself. Join all the others for “Sherlock’s Mind Palace” to unlock your hidden memory abilities.
