In many ways, pop culture is more diverse and inclusive than ever before. Yet there still aren't many disabled people in post-apocalyptic fiction, or people of color in medieval fantasy. And when was the last time the Chosen One turned out to be a single mother of three? Let’s examine the logistical obstacles to inclusion and shine a light on the creators who are working to overcome them in imaginative, believable ways.
