How do you tell a story about a character’s journey? Through their clothes and armor...and all the stains in between! Learn how to distress your costumes to bring a realistic touch! We’ll explore everything from adding dirt, grime, and blood (both fresh and aged), as well as the tattered/torn approach with stains and textures for fabric and armor mediums. We’ll also walk through an example project that tells a story through costuming – and how to translate, “flatter,” or design these projects into weathered, more realistic interpretations.
