Want to make a big prop for your cosplay? This panel will dive into the art of creating large props that are strong but light portable and con-safe. Topics will include selecting the right materials so that your prop is strong yet light making your prop portable (e.g. determining the best way to componentize your prop and how to connect these components) making sure your prop is con-safe and managing a crowded con with large props. I will also be bringing many of the large props we’ve made to show techniques and examples.
