Comicpalooza 2022
Dr. Jancy McPhee is a neuroscientist by training but her elaborate professional journey has roots in her artistic hobbies as well. McPhee will share her story about her own career path helping NASA explore the Moon and Mars and establishing her nonprofit SciArt Exchange. The nonprofit has a long history of hosting global multimedia space art contests and displays promoting the value and future of space activities. To date, the nonprofit has had over 12,000 participants from 65 countries and 3 million in-person artwork viewers. Their activities aim to unite science with art to help prepare and motivate people to solve the grand challenges ahead.
