Star Wars films are among the top box office hits of all time. The films have been popular internationally for almost 40 years. As such, people from all walks of life are familiar with the characters. This panel of forensic psychiatrist will use mostly the classic Star Wars movie characters (sorry expanded universe but just too darn large for a 45-minute panel) to highlights a vast array of psychopathology in a fun but educational way. Topics covered will included but not be limited to borderline and narcissistic personality traits, psychopathy, PTSD, developmental stages, and of course Oedipal conflicts. Nobody's favorite characters will escape examination . . . except for maybe Han Solo.
