Maddy Foley and Olivia Collict, two 30 year old women, realized they were feeling bad about themselves and constantly watching movies from their childhood in an attempt to feed off the nostalgia like vampires. Instead of doing it alone, they decided to do it together and record it. Thus, 30 Going On 13 was created.
