I made the transition to video game composition and sound design after a nearly 15-year career as a live performer and educator. Follow me as we talk about what that transition looks like, the challenges involved, how I navigated those challenges, and how the skills of being a performer have helped in a career in gaming. We will also explore the workflow and a "day-in-the-life" of a freelance composer and sound designer.
