Geoff Johns is an American comic book writer. He began his career as a production assistant for director Richard Donner. However, he switched to comic books when he traveled to New York City to the DC Comics offices. His first published comic book was the DCU Heroes Secret Files, for DC Comics, where he debuted his series Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E.. Johns has written countless DC Comics stories and has also worked on television shows and movies from the DC franchise including Justice League Unlimited, Smallville, Arrow, The Flash, Green Lantern and many more. Most recently, he has been working in the titles Justice Society of America, and his creator-owned Geiger and Junkyard Joe. Geoff Johns is a former President and Chief Creative Officer for DC and keeps working as a writer for both comic books as well as television and film.
