In this presentation, I will go over the different characteristics of a good edge, how to check for those characteristics, and how to sharpen a sword with a slack belt grinder (like the Harbor Freight 1x30). You will leave with a better understanding of edge geometry and the ability to assess sharpness using nothing but your eyes and fingers.
