Flexibility, Balance and Conditioning Techniques for Injury Prevention

Laughlin 1

Friday July 26, 2024 - 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm

This session is customizable to all levels of fitness this class is designed to give you the theory, the exercises, and the tools to train on the go and under your own body weight.

Repetitive motion and practice-based strength training, both common in fighters, leaves combatants vulnerable to sprains, strains, and long term skeletal damage if not balanced with flexibility, endurance and developmental control. In this class you be shown a number of conditioning and stretching techniques to balance out your training regiment and increase mobility, both in order to decrease the likelihood of an injury when training does not go to plan, or in a real fight, and you’ll even learn how to train your splits. Most exercises taught are adjustable to all levels, and physical participation is not required. This class is also highly recommended to instructors interested in rounding out their warm-ups and conditioning classes.
