Comicpalooza 2017
While Marvel, DC, and other publishers offered superheroes, westerns, and horror titles, one company offered kid friendly alternatives. Harvey Comics offered characters such as Casper The Friendly Ghost, Richi Rich, and other homegrown and acquired stars. From its early days with horror and superhero comics, to the rise of their children's titles to expansion into animation to their decline, Harvey Comics continues to be fondly remembered by those who grew up with them, and with the return of Casper and Friends in two comic book titles, this panel will talk about the history and legacy of Harvey Comics.
