On January 31st, 1975, artist Ralph McQuarrie began working on a film for George Lucas then titled Adventures of the Starkiller - Episode One: "The Star Wars." His work on STAR WARS would go on to inspire millions, and continues to influence contemporary STAR WARS films and television series. This presentation provides an introduction to the artist, stories behind the making of his most famous STAR WARS paintings, and a look at his work beyond a galaxy far, far away.
