We will see an end to Steven Moffat as showrunner for Doctor Who, as Chris Chibnall takes over. Like Moffat, Chibnall has previous experience as a writer for the show (and it’s spin-off, Torchwood) before taking over as the showrunner. In our panel, we will discuss the episodes written by Chibnall, as well as his work as showrunner for the BBC drama Broadchurch, to try and understand his writing style and speculate how the show will evolve under his leadership.
