Value studies and how to blend Grays like a pro. Learning were to put your dark to light values is 75 % of Illustrating your comic work. In This workshop we will learn how to place the darkest shade and progressively build out the Illustration with lighter shade from that. We will also be learning how to seamlessly blend copic markers from dark to light values. This workshop would benefit beginners and Professionals. NOTE: Matt will have enough materials for 40 students per class to be hands on. The rest will have to be observation only. Arrive early, as participation is on a first come basis. Matt Brundage is a respected illustrator, animator, sculptor and comic book artist which has seen him produce work for many of the major Western publishers including : Marvel, DC, Dark Horse Comics. He has illustrated iconic characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Hulk, Spider Man, Daredevil, Wolverine, Star Wars, Judge Dredd, Ren and Stimpy, Simpsons, amongst others. Additionally, he works as an illustrator in book, record and magazine publishing. He undertakes design and story-boarding work for multimedia and the entertainment industry and illustrated for movies like Chasing Amy, Astroesque, and Eyes to Heaven. Currently full time with Imagination International, Matt is our star of Youth Education traveling coast to coast for iii teaching in-school workshops to both instructors and students. He is also a integral part of our company as an instructor on the Imagination Art Bus, a retro-fitted city bus that is now a traveling art classroom. The Imagination Art Bus provides art education to rural schools in our community.
