(GT3) Denver Open Media & PCC Present: Superhero Shorts! (Comics and Digital Storytelling)

Room 303 - Education

Friday June 30, 2017 - 2:30 pm to 3:20 pm

Learn how Denver youth are turning comics into movie magic! / Join middle and high school students from across Denver as they share their "Superhero Shorts," a collection of DIY superhero films students created thanks to a 2016 – 2017 collaboration between Denver Open Media and PCC. During the panel, you'll get to a look behind the scenes as the students and their teachers discuss the process of bringing a comic book to life -- both behind, and in front of, the camera. Whether you're trying to become the next Joss Whedon or an educator looking for ways to bring these pop culture media into your classroom, this is the panel for you!
