Welcome to the Application Process for SiliCon 2022. The show will be at the San Jose Convention Center on August 27-28. Please be aware that this is not an automatic acceptance of your application for space into the show. We will let you know regarding your status. EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

 

Note that for 2022, booth fees include all load-in and load-out drayage. 

 

Artists, Crafters, & Small Press

Note: Items sold at these locations must be self-created, or in the case of Small Press, independent publishers.

 

Inline Table, 6' x 5' space, includes one 6' skirted table, 2 chairs, and 2 badges. $325

 

Electricity is not available in the artist & crafter area. 

 

Exhibitor Booths:

 

Inline Booth - 10' x 10' space, includes one 6' skirted table, two chairs and four badges. $850

 

Corner Booth - includes everything in the inline with access on two adjacent sides. $1150

 

Half-Island Booth - 10' x 20' space, with walkways on three sides (an endcap). Includes two 6' skirted tables, four chairs and eight badges. $2000

 

Full-Island Booth - 20' x 20' space, with walkways on all four sides (an island). Includes four 6' skirted tables, eight chairs and twelve badges. $4000

 

Electrical ordering will be available for an additional fee directly from the venue.

Friday, August 26, 2022: 10:00AM – 8:00PM  

 

Saturday, August 27, 2022: 7:00AM – 9:00AM 

 

Sunday, August 28, 2022: 8:00AM – 9:00AM

Saturday, August 27, 2022: 9:30AM - 7:00PM

 

Sunday, August 28, 2022: 9:30AM - 5:00PM

 

*Please Note: For the first half hour listed, the Exhibit halls will be open to VIP pass holder ONLY.

 

 

Exhibitor’s Hours for Move Out:

Sunday – August 28, 2022: - 5:00PM - 10:00PM

The move in and move out times above are for the convenience of the Exhibitors. All Exhibitors must be in place 15 minutes before the Exhibit Floor opens to the public. On initial arrival Exhibitors must check in with the Exhibitors’ Registration Desk. All Exhibitors will be given their Credentials at time of check-in. You will be required to either print out all tickets from GrowTix or have them available on a smart device and have them scanned in by registration staff.

If an Exhibitor has not checked in by 9:00AM on August 27th, the exhibit space will be considered abandoned. It will be considered available for purchase and setup by another Exhibitor. Refunds will only be given at the discretion of SiliCon. Please see the section on our cancellation policy for details.

SiliCon reserves the right to remove any material left behind and place it in storage at the Exhibitor’s expense or dispose of items left as abandoned. All Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own labor and staffing. SiliCon volunteers and/or hospitality staff are not available to help with Move In/Move Out or the setup of any merchandise in any way. The Move In/Move Out of exhibits must be through designated loading docks and freight doors. The main lobbies, side doors and passenger elevators are not to be used for such purposes.

 

Exhibitor Refund Policy:

All Exhibitor Booth Space Sales are FINAL. No refunds will be given. Generally, cancellation of booth space is not permitted, any cancellation must have the prior written consent of SiliCon, which consent shall be in SiliCon’s absolute discretion. In the event that SiliCon is cancelled prior to the show's opening, vendor fees will be rolled forward to the next event.

 ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. IN THE CASE OF THE EVENT BEING POSTPONED OR CANCELLED FEES WILL BE ROLLED FORWARD TO THE NEXT EVENT.

Contract Terms & Conditions


Exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and save the San Jose Convention Center and SiliCon and all their employees and agents harmless against all claims, losses and damages to person or property, governmental charges and or fines and attorney fees arising out of or caused by exhibitors installation, removal, occupancy or use of the exhibition premises or any part thereof.  Exhibitors agree to hold harmless SiliCon and any of its production partners from loss or damage of merchandise or injury sustained during attendance at its events. SiliCon takes no responsibility for items lost or stolen: it is up to vendors to carry insurance for their goods. Payment is due when contract is sent unless arrangements have been made. We cannot hold floor space without payment. Table money will not be refunded unless authorized by SiliCon Owner/Event Director Exhibitors will limit their display to the rented table space and a reasonable distance behind that space that is deemed “theirs” and will not alter the convention floor plan in any way. No Exhibitor will be or is allowed to have any item(s) in the aisle space of the convention floor. Any damage to the facility NOT reported to SiliCon and/or San Jose Convention Center before 10:00AM EST on the morning of the aforementioned show, will completely be the responsibility of the exhibitor occupying the space; and said exhibitor will be held personally responsible for said damage.


SiliCon has the right to remove any offensive material displayed. No nudity is to be displayed at any Exhibitor’s table. Sale of weapons is strictly prohibited. The tables you purchase are for your use ONLY. NO SUBLETTING and/or RESELLING of tables will be allowed.


SiliCon only allows the sale of licensed merchandise (including videotapes) at its events. Exhibitors are responsible for the legality of the items they sell, as well as government and/or tax licenses, and insurance. See Anti-Bootleg policy below! All exhibitors must be packed up and all products and materials owned by said dealer must be entirely removed from the convention space by 10:00 pm on Sunday, August 28th. 

 

SiliCon Anti-Bootleg Policy.


Please be advised that the sale and display of any merchandise (including but not limited to video tapes, DVD’s, CD’s and artist’s renderings in any form or format) shall only be allowed where the merchandise has been packaged by an approved license holder for the property(s) depicted and does not violate the rights of the rights-holder to the property(s) depicted, including and in respect to copyright and trademark. Vendors may be asked to provide documentation establishing such packaging, authorization, and authenticity; and must be prepared to produce it upon request. SiliCon does not permit the sale of “BOOTLEG” or unauthorized merchandise at our event.


THE EXHIBITOR UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES AS FOLLOWS AS SET FORTH BY SiliCon AND the San Jose Convention Center.

1. SiliCon will determine the assignment of space. Special requests will be accommodated when possible.

2. Upon receipt of EXHIBITOR’S application and payment, SiliCon will assign space on a first paid, first serve basis. If EXHIBITOR is denied space, upon SiliCons return of payment, neither party shall have any further rights or obligations of liabilities with regard to the other.

3. No dismantling permitted until event has ended at 5pm Sunday. Aisles must be kept clear for safe access from 9am until the end of the public access hours (7pm Saturday, 5pm Sunday).

4. EXHIBITOR will comply with all local, state and federal laws including the collection of sales taxes.

5. SiliCon and the San Jose Convention Center are not responsible for the safety of any EXHIBITOR, its property, employees, visitors or customers from theft, disappearance, injury or damage by fire, accident or any other cause, and EXHIBITORS assume sole liability for any losses resulting from such causes. No insurance is provided for the benefit of exhibitors or their property. EXHIBITORS shall indemnify and hold SiliCon, the San Jose Convention Center and their affiliates harmless from any damages, losses or liabilities resulting from any claims, demands, suits or other actions based on or arising out of the exhibitor’s presence in the indoor expo spaces or parking areas during the lease term of the show.

6. EXHIBITOR is expected to adhere to all health guidelines published by SiliCon, including but not limited to masks, hand sanitizing, and other requirements as may be required by the event, venue, civic, state, or federal agencies.
