Exhibit Space Details

METROCON's Exhibit Hall is a combined area containing the Vendors Area and the Artist Alley, as well as space for autograph signings, clubs, demos, vehicle displays, and more!! The METROCON Exhibit Hall is located in the combined East/Center Halls of the Tampa Convention Center. The Vendors Area is made up of 10'x10' booths, which each contain a 6' skirted table, two folding chairs, and a wastebasket. Artist Alley is made up of 8' skirted tables, each with two chairs.

The Vendor Area is for those merchants who are selling licensed products and distributing merchandise on behalf of manufacturers (even if the manufacturer is themselves). Examples include DVDs, manga, figures, collectibles, t-shirts, statues, books, posters, wall scrolls, manufactured costumes, glassware, and much more.

The Artist Alley is for smaller-scale merchants who are vending handmade items. These items should have been made by the merchant present at the convention in some capacity - art prints, original art, sculptures, assorted crafts, multimedia projects, handmade jewelry, handmade clothing or clothing containing original artwork, etc.

Clubs and promotional groups may be placed in either area as is most appropriate. Groups seeking to leverage the stage in the Exhibit Hall for demos and presentations will be grouped in booth spaces nearest to the stage.

All exhibitors may configure their booth how they see fit, adding shelving and temporary structure as necessary, so long as these additions do not interfere with walkways, or infringe on other booth spaces by exceeding the borders of the purchased space.

Power, internet, phone, and other amenities are not provided to the Exhibitor by METROCON. Exhibitors may purchase these for a fee directly from the Tampa Convention Center - more information will be available in the Exhibitor Information Packet.
