With writing credits almost as long as his name, the real question is, "What ISN'T J. Michael Straczynski known for writing?". The film, TV, comic book writer and author has his writing style seen all over pop culture since the 1980's. His major credits started out writing scripts for HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, SHE-RA, CAPTAIN POWER, and THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS.
Straczynski then found success in the 1990's by creating and writing for the Emmy-award winning sci-fi series, BABYLON 5. He then was contracted by Marvel Comics in the early 2000's, writing for titles such as SPIDER-MAN, DR. STRANGE, THE FANTASTIC FOUR, and SUPREME POWER, based on Squadron Supreme. During that time he wrote the film, CHANGLING, as well as drafts of NINJA ASSASSIN and WORLD WAR Z. He was also credited with being a story-writer on the THOR movie. He started with DC Comics in 2010 to write for SUPERMAN, and THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD.
Recently, Straczynski created and wrote the Netflix cult-hit SENSE8, which received high acclaim from reviewers and fans alike.
