”Dormammu, I've come to bargain!" We know Dr. Stephen Strange is willing to bargain, but fans of this Marvel blockbuster don't have to, because Dr. Strange screenwriter C. Robert Cargill will be comic to DCC ’18 especially to premier his brand new book, We Are Where the Nightmares Go! A novelist, film critic, and screenwriter, Cargill brought us the screenplay for not only Dr. Strange but also the horror classics Sinister and Sinister II. This self-proclaimed space pirate took an eclectic path to Hollywood, working as a waiter, video store clerk, camp counselor, and sandwich artist before beginning his career as a freelance film critic for sites like Ain't it Cool News, film.com, hollywood.com and Spill.com. In addition to his work in film, this Texas-based author has written multiple stunning novels, including Dreams and Shadows, Sea of Rust, and Queen of the Dark Things. Cargill and fellow DCC guest, Brain Salisbury, will be recording episodes of their Junkfood Cinema podcast at DCC. Consume some “Junkfood” before coming to DCC, for a celebration of cult classics and cinematic treats!
