Only active members of the media will be considered for press badges. Submitting an application does not guarantee you a complimentary pass to Silver Scream Fest. We will contact you regarding approval or denial.
Cosmic-Con invites the members of the press and media to join us for the Second Annual Silver Scream Film and Comics Festival. Silver Scream Fest press must register online and complete the press application form to receive pre-approval if they plan to attend. Silver Scream Fest press must submit verification materials. You can qualify for complimentary press badges if you are an active member of the media upon approval.
Please submit links to current articles or an online company roster confirming your association. What will not qualify as press are personal blogs, outdated posts, friends and family of media or any other verification we deem inadequate. Silver Scream Fest press badges include weekend admission and are good for entry to all of the regular events held at Silver Scream Fest (space permitting). Silver Scream Fest press badges do not carry special privileges over paid badges. Silver Scream Fest press badges are not a premium or VIP pass and will not have any access to VIP or special closed events. Please keep in mind that press registration is a courtesy and you may not transfer, trade, gift or sell your Silver Scream Fest press badge. A Silver Scream Fest press badge has no monetary value and is excluded from any refund or financial recourse. If you lose your Silver Scream Fest complimentary badge, a replacement badge will not be issued.
Camera crews, while free to roam the theatre, cannot set up equipment in a fixed manner (i.e. lights, chairs, etc.). Press that wants to record video or audio in any matter that will be used outside of news or editorial purposes must first obtain written permission from Cosmic-Con as well as permission of the panel participants.
Please email: info@silverscreamfest.com to request the appropriate consents along with detailed information regarding your interest in recording at Silver Scream Fest. If you do not get written consent for specific recordings you may be in violation of privacy rights and copyrights.
All Press acknowledge and agree that the names, outlets, and email addresses of registered Silver Scream Fest press may be made available to the public prior to the convention. Silver Scream Fest press badge is a privilege and can be issued and cancelled at the sole discretion of Comic-Con.
Press must be respectful of all our attendees. Cosmic-Con does not tolerate coverages that disrespect any attendee and make anyone feel violated or offended.
