In this panel, three authors successful authors (Charlie Jane Anders, Annalee Newitz, and Kristen Simmons) and one teacher will discuss the nature of dystopian fiction: what makes a dystopia; what makes a good dystopian protagonist and antagonist; and how much dystopias have changed. In addition, the four will discuss facilitate the understanding of these worlds in both teachers and students alike.
