Climate Fiction - It's About the Environment, Stupid.

Programming 2 (Minoru D)

Friday October 5, 2018 - 3:00 pm to 3:50 pm

BC and California are burning down. Britain's weather rockets between drought and flood, between unprecedented cold and blistering heat. The rains in Africa aren't where they should be. Can we still write about the future without making the environment a central character in our narrative? And when we do write "Climate-Fiction" does it always have to be cautionary tales and hopeless dystopias?
