[Speaker: Gordy Haab] Multi award-winning composer, Gordy Haab will dive into his process for composing music for the industry's largest titles. In this presentation, he will discuss his approach for creating music that is unique and original, while also living up to the brand accuracy and high standards expected by both the studios and the multiple millions of pre-existing fans. By siting numerous examples from Star Wars: Battlefront I and II, Gordy will demonstrate his compositional techniques, discuss technical production choices, and will examine how he handled the personal and emotional pressure associated with the high expectations of contributing to the world's most well-known franchise.
