Rated PG :: Barty catches wind of an incredibly destructive device, images of a black pearl haunt his dreams. The ol' scallywag believes the device is a gift from the Kraken-Matron Maersaluth. The Sons of Barty have combed the Savage Coast for clues to the location of the dread relic. In order to put an end to Captain Barty's grim crusade, and in so doing save Brinewind, the PCs must race Barty's flagship and beat him to the artifact. All clues point to a remote stretch of the Pellagrino Sea where a dead island rises but one day a year. In the middle of the island... a cyclopean city older than time rises up, and in the middle of the city a black vault of slime and horror.
